EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - CONFERENCE/EVENT ORGANISER FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIAN AGRIBUSINESS CROP UPDATE AND REGIONAL UPDATES (Closed Monday 14/05/2012, 5pm AWST, 7pm AEST)
The Department of Agriculture and Food WA (DAFWA) and the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) sought Expressions of Interest (EOI) from credentialed and experienced conference/event organisers to work in partnership with DAFWA and GRDC to develop, organise and deliver:
• Annual Agribusiness Crop Updates in Perth, WA and
• Annual Regional Grower Crop Updates across WA

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - NATIONAL BARLEY COORDINATION PROJECT (Closes Monday 7/06/2012, 2pm AEST)
The GRDC seeks Expressions of Interest from Australian pre-breeding organisations to establish a national barley coordination project similar in scope and operation to the CIMMYT-Australia-ICARDA Germplasm Evaluation (CAIGE) program for wheat. The national barley coordination project will coordinate importation, multiplication and distribution of barley germplasm with novel biotic and abiotic stress resistance from International Centre for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) and manage the collation and distribution of related data for use in breeding and pre-breeding research in Australia.
