GRDC Stakeholder Report 2007-08
The GRDC works closely the Australian grain growers. Grain grower interests are served by ensuring the GRDC Board and the GRDC's national and regional panels have grains industry expertise, and through consultation and reporting relationships established by statute between the GRDC and the grains industry's representative organisation, the Grains Council of Australia (GCA).
Each year the GRDC provides a Stakeholder Report to the GCA. The Stakeholder Report focuses on the achievements of the Corporation in meeting the industry priorities as well as the projected revenue and expenditure for the following financial year. The Stakeholder Report assists the GCA to formulate its advice to the Minister on setting the research levy rates for the Australian grain commodities.
