Portfolio Budget Statement (PBS)
The Portfolio Budget Statement (PBS) summarises an agency’s planned outputs, outcomes, performance information and financial statements for a given financial year. The purpose of the PBS is to inform Senators and Members of Parliament of the proposed allocation of resources by agencies within a portfolio e.g. the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
